We are pleased to assure you that we are continuing to send out bottles of Edinburgh Gin to your door. Given the impact of the current Covid-19 pandemic, deliveries may take slightly longer to reach you than normal but we’ll be virtually raising a glass with you as soon as it does arrive.

When will I receive my order?

Delivery will usually be made within 3-5 working days. Please allow 4-5 working days for the Scottish Highlands. Delivery will be made by our chosen courier at any time Monday through to Friday. We do not deliver at weekends or bank holidays.

How is my order packaged?

Each order is wrapped in Edinburgh Gin branded paper, placed in a recycled cardboard mould for protection and then inserted into a cardboard box and sealed.

Can I add a gift message to my order?

Yes, there is a tick box at check out to inform us that the order is a gift. Directly beneath is a box to enter your gift message. Each gift message is printed on A6, Edinburgh Gin branded card.

The Delivery process

A one hour delivery time slot will be allocated by the courier, this is sent via text or E-Mail so please ensure that you provide both. If the time and day is suitable no further action by you is required. If it’s not convenient there are plenty of options for you to choose from. You can change your delivery date, arrange to leave your parcel somewhere safe at the delivery address, deliver it to your neighbor, drop it off at your local shop, or go to the depot to pick it up. All of these amendments can be made via the courier’s communications. On the day your order dispatches your goods you will receive e-mail/text notification from the courier confirming that the items have been dispatched.

Who needs to be home to sign for a delivery?

Our standard deliveries are made during normal business hours, Monday to Friday; to ensure prompt delivery, someone must be present to sign for the parcel. If you are not at home when the product is delivered or no one is available at your address to take delivery, APC will provide instructions for re delivery to you.

If after a failed delivery to you, you do not re-arrange delivery, the costs associated with such failed delivery have to be borne by you. For full APC terms of accepting a delivery, please click here.

Please be advised, that under the APC terms and conditions, the carrier does not inspect the consignment at any point before or during transit. This means that it is up to the customer to not only ensure that someone who is over 18 is available to receive the parcel, but that the condition of the contents needs to be checked upon receipt.

Accepting your parcel

Our standard deliveries are made during normal business hours, Monday to Friday; to ensure prompt delivery, someone must be present to sign for the parcel.

Please be advised that except in case of Delivery in a Safe Place, the courier requires the Recipient of a Parcel to be of Legal Age. Furthermore, you as the recipient of the order, acknowledge that the courier will not carry out any age verification upon delivery.

When will my parcel arrive?

You will receive your one hour window on the day of delivery once the driver has scanned all the parcels onto the van, this is usually by 12 noon. At this point you have the option to re- schedule the delivery day to any of the next 3 working days. If no notification is received delivery will be attempted within this One Hour delivery slot. If no one is in to sign for their goods the courier will attempt to deliver to a neighbour at either side of the delivery address and you will receive an e mail /text confirming which address your item has been signed for at.

After two unsuccessful delivery attempts our courier will notify us that they have not been able to deliver your goods and we will contact you to be advised whether a final attempt to deliver to the same address should be made; re-deliver to an alternative address; hold in delivery depot for you to collect (2 pieces of ID required) or Return. If you do not respond to the courier 2 failed delivery attempts, your item will be held in the delivery depot for 5 working days before returning the goods. Where the item will be processed as a return.

All purchases and postage charges are subject to VAT.

Do you ship internationally?

Unfortunately, we currently only deliver within the UK.

Can the shipping address be different to the billing address?

We are happy to delivery your order to an address that is different to your normal billing address. To do this, simply enter the desired delivery address during the checkout process.
