Fleabag's Martini

A crystal-clear gin Martini that's fit for Fleabag herself. Stirred, strained, and simply garnished, the spikey yet beautiful gorse flower adds a subtle aromatic twist to this classic cocktail.

Ingredients

  • 60ml Edinburgh Gin Classic
  • 15ml gorse-infused dry vermouth
  • 2 drops of citrus bitters
  • Gorse petal to garnish

Method

  • Pour 35cl dry vermouth into an air-tight jar with a handful of fresh gorse petals
  • Allow to infuse for 3 days in a cool, dry place
  • In a mixing glass, stir the gin, infused vermouth and bitters with plenty of ice for 30 seconds
  • Strain into a Martini glass
  • Garnish with a gorse petal pegged to the rim of the glass
