Inspired by East Coast beaches near Edinburgh, a unique London Dry style gin defined by juniper, soft salinity and sweet notes.

Originally made with foraged shoreline botanicals, Seaside Gin was the first of our collaborations in partnership with Heriot-Watt University’s Brewing and Distilling MSc course.

We sourced marine plants including scurvy grass, ground ivy and bladderwrack to create a gin with distinctive minerality. These are complemented with aromatic spice notes from grains of paradise, coriander and cardamom.

Bottled at 43% ABV, Seaside Gin makes for a bracingly refreshing G&T, and perfectly garnished with a sprig of green samphire in summertime. Alternatively, try a Seaside Martini with olive and anchovy garnish to create a pleasingly briny drink.

Signature Botanicals

  • Scurvy Grass

    Scurvy Grass

Fresh but slightly spicy flavour, related to the mustard seed.

  • Bladderwrack

Sweet and slightly saline flavours, resulting in a refreshing combination.

  • Ground Ivy

    Ground Ivy

Has a fresh aroma (similar to parsley), balances the more potent scurvy grass and bladder wrack.

We explored the East Coast shoreline to find marine plants which would best work to create a unique gin which would be evocative of bracing seaside days.
